MiniTec has provided Basingstoke Town Football Club with dugouts constructed from aluminium extrusions that are normally used to build machine frames and similar industrial structures.
At its Camrose football ground, Basingstoke Town FC has just installed soem extremely high quality dugouts. The sleek aluminium extruded structures offer comfort, shelter and a place to refine Manager Francis Vines' match day tactics and help physios, kit men and substitutes prepare for the onslaught.
The new dugouts have been provided by BTFC sponsor, MiniTec UK, which normally supplies its modular Profile System as a complete machine building and framing system for manufacturing, inspection and test systems in industry and research.
Gary Livingstone, MiniTec's Managing Director and a Basingstoke Town supporter, comments: "Profile System is so adaptable that we thought that providing Basingstoke Town FC's dugouts would be an interesting challenge. Our rapid assembly machine framing system has also been used extensively for architectural applications and offers just the kind of durability and toughness that a football dugout requires."
MiniTec designs and builds specialist machine frames, workbenches, guarding systems and even complete production lines - quickly and at substantially less cost than other methods. The sturdy new dugouts have been built to comply with FA standards and are colour-matched to BTFC's blue and gold strip. It has been rumoured that they may even offer a home to the Club's mascot Stokie the Dragon when all the fans go home and he is left to look after The Camrose ground.
