Air- and water-cooled chillers are cost-effective

Megatech is introducing a new extensive range of cost-effective air- and water-cooled chillers manufactured by US-based Lydall Affinity. These high-quality products are designed to dispose of heat produced in industrial processes. The high-performance refrigerated and non-refrigerated chillers feature compact, modular designs and can operate with temperatures of -80 to +200degC.

Air- and water-cooled chillers are cost-effective

The air-cooled chillers are designed to remove heat from a process and discharge it into the ambient air. These systems are suitable for processes where facility water is unavailable or expensive. Standard design parameters require adequate ventilation and an ambient air temperature 5-35degC.

The Water-cooled chillers are designed to remove heat from a process and discharge it to an auxiliary facility water supply such as a central chilled-water system or cooling tower. The facility water source does not need to be temperature controlled. These systems are easy to install and feature a small footprint, modular design with capacities of up to 100kW. Incorporated in all models is a reservoir for water/coolants that have a clearly visible indicator for the observation of level and contents. The control panel offers thermostat control of the outlet water from the reservoir, measurement and display of the temperature of the outlet water from the evaporator and the chiller.

All models have removable covers for fast and easy maintenance, are equipped with easy-to-use controls and can be operated locally or remotely. Also available are RS-485 and RS232 communications, different pump options, heater packages, etc.

These innovative products have applications in the semiconductor manufacturing, engineering, processing, laboratory and manufacturing industries.
