Kaydon is a bearing brand that has global recognition. In particular, its Reali-Slim range is the preferred choice for many designers seeking space and weight savings without compromising performance. For a number of years the sales and marketing of the entire Kaydon range in the UK has been the responsibility of precision component supplier R. A. Rodriguez.
Recent management changes at R.A. Rodriguez have created a vacancy for a product manager to represent the flagship Kaydon range and the company has appointed Andrew Tilley to this position.
Andrew Tilley's first steps into the world of engineering came with his appointment as prototype toolmaker at Cosworth Engineering. After three years he moved into sales at Benzler (UK), an industrial drive and gearbox specialist. In 1991 his first external sales job was selling capital plant to British Rail and its second-tier suppliers for Geismar UK. This was followed by a move to Marconi Data Systems to the post of major account executive for its ink jet and laser coding equipment.
Andrew joins RA Rodriguez from Bostik, where he was south-east area sales manager for the development and management of key distributors and direct major accounts within the company's industrial sealants division.
