AS-Interface I/O modules use M12 connectors and round cables
Murrelektronik MASI68 remote I/O modules combine the convenient AS-Interface technology with industrially proven M12 connectors and round cable wiring. They are suitable for applications in rugged industrial environments with high mechanical stress, exposure to lubricants and coolants, or in C-track applications.
The extremely compact MASI68 modules are also useful for installations in confined space. The product range features compact modules and extendable modules, each with four or eight ports, and both suitable for M12 and M8 connections. MASI68 components are available with predefined inputs or with predefined inputs and outputs.
Expansion modules are also available to integrate PT100 temperature sensors cost-effectively into control systems. Also available are expansion modules with passive safe outputs.
The expansion modules are quickly and flexibly connected with specially designed round cables that enable systems to span distances of up to 100m - which is the same as with conventional AS-Interface profile cables.
