Aventics focuses on promising key sectors at Hannover Messe

Poland is an attractive market for the pneumatics specialists at Aventics. With non-stop growth in the food industry, a trend towards automation, and a flourishing shipbuilding industry, this year's partner country to the Hannover Messe is seeing an increasing need for pneumatics components. With a company-owned sales organisation in Warsaw, Aventics has provided its Polish customers with support since 1991, first as Rexroth Pneumatics, then as Aventics (since 2014).

Experts all over the world are certain: Poland's economy, in particular its industry, will see above-average growth over the next few years. A study published by consultant firm McKinsey in 2015 reveals significant potential for expanding the strong Polish food industry. Numerous Polish companies are currently investing in the production of milk products, frozen foods, and beverage bottling - a pleasing development for the pneumatics specialists at Aventics.

One of the company's main focuses is the food and beverage industry. Ireneusz Jakubowski, General Manager Sales at Aventics in Poland explains: "We have decades of experience in working with machine manufacturers and end users to meet European and American hygiene requirements in production." Production systems in the food industry have to be corrosion-resistant since they are frequently cleaned and disinfected with aggressive substances. Aventics has developed a comprehensive range of pneumatics components with a hygienic design to meet this need.

Due to significant increases of production costs and safety requirements, companies in this year's HMI partner country are feeling more and more pressure to improve efficiency. Ireneusz Jakubowski states: "This offers significant potential to drive automation in the Polish industry." Pneumatic handling systems for assembly in particular can help manufacturers lower labour costs with little to no effort, even in existing plants.

Another attractive market segment for Aventics: the shipbuilding industry on the Baltic coast. According to calculations by Forum Okrętowe, the industry association for maritime companies, sales reached a record value of 2.5 billion euros in 2015. This includes shipbuilding, but also repairs and modernisations. Here, Aventics also supplies ship controls and system products, for example for pneumatic ballast tank systems.

Ever since the fall of the Iron Curtain in 1990, Poland has been considered one of the world's economies with the strongest growth. The country survived the financial crisis virtually unscathed, and has since been a driver of growth within Europe. Experts expect the success story of this country with around 38 million inhabitants to continue. Consultant firm McKinsey & Company titled its comprehensive 2015 study on this year's HMI partner country: "Poland 2025: Europe's new growth engine." The consultants are currently expecting major quantitative and qualitative growth in the industrial sector.

Aventics can be found at the 2017 Hannover Messe in hall 23, booth C31, or visit the website at www.aventics.co.uk for further information.
