Aylesford Newsprint extends MRO contract with Eriks
Having helped Aylesford Newsprint to make considerable MRO savings over the last few years, Eriks has been awarded an extended contract.
Eriks has won a renewed MRO contract with Aylesford Newsprint thanks to its consistent delivery of savings. Eriks Integrated Solutions, a division of Eriks UK, was chosen as the partner for a three-year integrated supply deal with Aylesford in 2009. Eriks' implementation of a highly successful procurement and stores management programme has led Aylesford to extend that contract until March 2014.
Aylesford Newsprint, which manufactures premium-quality newsprint by recycling recovered newspapers and magazines at a 60-acre site in Kent, needed external expertise to help optimise its stores; the company chose Eriks for its proven experience and knowledge across many industries. Since 2009, the breadth of Eriks' product offering has enabled Aylesford to cut its MRO supplier base from hundreds of providers to only 12, delivering significant savings and enhanced efficiency.
