Base plate provides for increased frame height adjustment
For applications in which levelling feet need to be provided with long adjustment lengths, Item is launching the Base Plate 8 40x40, which is available through Machine Building Systems.
This base plate attaches to 40x40mm Line 8 aluminium profiles and allows for an M16 threaded adjustable foot to be accommodated within one of the dovetail grooves in the side of the profile. Virtually any length of threaded spindle can therefore be used on the adjustable foot, and the maximum permissible load on the die-cast zinc base plate is 10,000N.
