Bernstein UK initiates ambitious growth strategy

Bernstein UK has appointed Rob Emms (seated in photo) as the new Managing Director for its rapidly expanding 'electrical components and solutions' business with effect from 24 September 2008. He was previously Operations Manager at the Bernstein UK head Office in Walsall, West Midlands.

This strategic appointment is described as the start of an ambitious growth strategy for the Bernstein switch, sensor, enclosure and sub-contract manufacturing business in the UK.

Two new sales management roles have already been filled by internal appointments. Rob Maydom (standing, right in photo) is appointed National Sales Manager and Paul Sharp (standing, left in photo) takes on the role of National Sales Enclosure Manager. In addition a national recruitment campaign is underway for two new sales management positions, in Ireland and Scotland, which have been created as part of these expansion plans. For further details of these vacancies visit the Bernstein UK web site at www.bernstein-ltd.co.uk.

As a worldwide manufacturer of safety switches, sensors and enclosures, Bernstein emphasises its commitment to innovation, reliability and value. A wealth of technical expertise has been accumulated over many years, ensuring that products are developed to achieve optimum performance with the highest possible quality.

The UK operations are served from a purpose-built 15000sq-ft facility near Aldridge in the West Midlands. Large stock holdings ensure that the company can offer next-day UK delivery on standard products, while the in-house assembly and production department offers customers a host of cost-saving value-added services including customisation, cabling and manufacture.
