BOGE Compressors has opened a new factory in Grossenhain, Germany. The expansion follows a highly successful year for BOGE, which has over 100 years' experience in developing innovative compressed air systems. BOGE increased its market share in 2013 despite challenging economic conditions.
Growing demand from customers globally is driving BOGE's investment in new facilities such as those in Grossenhain. BOGE has sales offices, distributors and subsidiaries worldwide from Australia to Mexico and the US to India.
Attendees at an opening event held on 7th February at the new factory included over 250 guests from politics, business and administration alongside BOGE employees. The Federal Interior Minister, Thomas de Maizière, Minister of State Sven Morlok and Mayor of Grossenhain Burkhard Mller welcomed BOGE to its new site. In response, Wolf D Meier-Scheuven, managing partner and great, great grandson of company founder Otto Boge, thanked the community of Grossenhain for the "great hospitality shown towards BOGE."
