BOGE unveils Anniversary Edition of S-4 screw compressor

This year marks BOGE Compressors' 111th anniversary, the company plans to celebrate this in style by unveiling a special Anniversary Edition of its popular S-Series screw compressors at the Hanover Fair (April 1-5, 2019). Now in its fourth generation of development, the S-4 takes energy saving, sound pressure dBA and ease of maintenance to an entirely new level. The S 111-4, a new "˜limited edition' compressor, packs some novel technologies, all of which will be revealed to visitors to the stand at this year's show.

Also making its debut at Hanover this year is BOGE's next-generation compact C-2 screw compressor that combines optimised energy efficiency with a fully accessible, ergonomic design. Engineered to meet customers' specific requirements for versatility and ease of maintenance, the C-2 combines market-leading levels of energy efficiency with quiet operation and minimised footprint.

Joining these new products will be stalwarts of BOGE's range, including the oil-free, low pressure LPT 150 turbo compressor featuring a permanent magnet motor driven, air-guided drive shaft, and the latest version of the company's BLUEprotect, an environmentally safe nitrogen generation system that protects grain storage containers from pest infestation.

BOGE is strongly committed to furthering Industry 4.0 and its industrial methodologies and will demonstrate this by showing strategic developments from its digitisation programme. BOGE's airstatus remote monitoring system, for example, is now a decade old; current versions of airstatus are considerably extended in terms of functionality and connectivity and are set to revolutionise human-machine communication. Users worldwide will soon be able to access every operational parameter of their compressed air systems via a new incarnation of airstatus called BOGE connect.

Continuing this theme, BOGE's innovative airtelligence provis 2.0 air compressor control system has been further enhanced and will soon be available in its third iteration - airtelligence provis 3.0. This new generation controller is able to process data from an unlimited number of machines and components, benefitting from integrated BOGE analytics and an open data format with OPC UA. This customer-orientated, convenient and intelligent product is fully compatible with the aims of the Industry 4.0 manufacturing paradigm.

Mark Whitmore, General Manager at BOGE UK comments: "Hanover provides a great showcase for our products and technologies and this year's exhibit is possibly our best ever. With new products, including our stand blockbuster, the S-4 Anniversary Edition, S 111-4, and some fine examples of our Industry 4.0 related work that really push the boundaries of remote human-machine communication."

Visitors are warmly invited to meet the BOGE team at the Hanover Trade Fair in Hall 26, Stand B56. Go to uk.boge.com/en for further information.
