Bollhoff supports sudden demand for medical equipment
Like many other providers in the manufacturing sector, Bollhoff is expecting challenging times ahead but is making every effort to ensure that supplies of products used in the medical sector are readily available. The company supplies a variety of fasteners that are used extensively in the manufacture of hospital trolleys, beds and trays, all now in significant demand as the Government strives to establish new field hospitals in various locations across the UK.
To cope with the demand, the management at Bollhoff have taken steps to ensure that they can provide continuity of supply to the manufacturers concerned. The company's Rivnut, Amtec and Snaploc fasteners, used extensively for speedy and secure fastening into the aluminium sheet and section used so widely in trolleys, beds and trays, are in particularly high demand.
Bollhoff Industry Manager Clive Brown says:. "Like everyone else at the moment, we remain keen to do our bit in whatever way we can. Our colleagues at plants in Willenhall and Germany, as well as the team here in Hull (producing Helicoil threaded inserts) are working flat-out to ensure that demand is met for this vital equipment.
