Distribution boxes come with pre-wired connector slot configurations
Norstat now offers a line of distribution boxes that are said to provide a convenient and compact connectivity solution that can be installed quickly and easily in the field.
“Our distribution boxes offer considerable cost-saving benefits,” says the company, “when compared to hard-wiring I/O connections, due to their pre-wired connector slot configurations which enables numerous sensor and actuator signals to be transmitted back to a control system with ease.”
Norstat’s distribution boxes are also “compatible with standard M8 and M12 plug wiring schemes, and common wiring is provided for positive, negative, and ground positions”.
Pole position
Boxes are available in 4/5 pole versions with 4,6 & 8 position (M12 box) or 3/4 poles with up to 10 positions (M8 box). These distribution boxes are available with terminal contacts, M12 connection or with moulded PUR/ PVC cable.
Housings are nylon 6/glass fibre and are available in black, red or yellow. All Norstat distribution boxes have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +90°C and carry a Protection rating of IP 67.
