B&R at Smart IoT London

Smart IoT London 2016 will be the largest ever Internet of Things conference and exhibition with 200 presentations in eight streamed theatres and 110 exhibitors. This world-class co-located event will attract 20,000 visitors from enterprise to government strategy leaders to R&D and developers.

B&R UK aims to inspire and enable visitors to apply IoT systems to their everyday work. Not only increasing productivity, but also lowering costs of customisation and flexibility in their production automation system allowing batch size 1 product offerings.

Nicholas Temple, End User Manager at B&R UK says: "We believe in innovating automation to allow for extremely fast processing of tasks, simplifying complex programming needs that leave the user with more time to focus on innovating, and supplying local support to implement these solutions no matter where you are in the world.

"In the converging world of IT and Automation, B&R is sought after as a single-source designer and manufacturer for hardware and software to manage the Digital Factory. We enable real-time data capture and analysis at the field level to allow for sophisticated monitoring and control of machines, production lines, process, and even plants for every type of user in the modern smart connected factory."

B&R will also be hosting a seminar session on the first day of the exhibition at 14:00 on the 12th of April in the Business Forum Theatre where they will share their own experiences in applying IoT into their production process and the benefits of doing so.

Nicholas Temple says: "We are happy to share our personal experiences with the IoT in our Austrian manufacturing headquarters as well as the resulting increase in productivity and competitiveness of our products with visitors to the show."

B&R can be found at stand T400 at the Smart IoT London, ExCeL London, 12-13 April 2016. For more information, visit www.br-automation.com.
