Brainboxes expands range of PCI Express serial cards

In 2008 Brainboxes launched a new PCI Express range, including RS232 and RS422/485 products. The range has been very popular with customers and the company is now adding the following products to this range:

  • PX-260 - Low Profile 4xRS232 1MBaud
  • PX-701 - 4xRS232 1MBaud
  • PX-320 - Low Profile 1xRS422/485 1MBaud
  • PX-324 - 1xRS422/485 1MBaud
  • PX-313 - 2xRS422/485 1MBaud

All PCI Express cards, including the new editions to this growing range, add reliable and high-speed connectivity via any standard PCIe slot (x1, x2, x4, x8 or x16 lane slots). True megabaud line drivers carry information at 921,600baud, and 256byte FIFOs with a user-definable trigger level ensure high levels of data integrity, thereby reducing the likelihood of dropped packets. They also come with Brainboxes' acclaimed customer support package, including Lifetime Warranty and Support.

Supplied with an installation CD including manual, Microsoft signed drivers and utilities, the full range of PCI Express comprises 1-, 2-, 4- and 8-port RS232 cards and 1- and 2-port RS422/485 cards with opto-isolation options available. Brainboxes is a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner and these cards are compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows Server 2008, Vista, XP, Server 2003 and 2000. Cards also come with Brainboxes' acclaimed Serial Solutions software, which is installed in systems worldwide, providing stability and reliability.
