Brammer Buck & Hickman now supply Camozzi Automation pneumatics

Brammer Buck & Hickman has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Camozzi Automation, completing its pneumatic automation brand portfolio.

Founded in 1964, Camozzi Automation is one of the world's leading suppliers of advanced pneumatic components and systems with representation in over 70 countries spanning the world.

Libby Peacock, Product Manager for Pneumatics comments: "We are delighted to be entering into this strategic partnership agreement with Camozzi Automation. We pride ourselves in partnering with world class brands whose ethos is aligned with our own. Camozzi's high standard of added value services goes hand in hand with the Brammer Buck & Hickman culture, along with renowned customer service, superior quality products and innovation. We are looking forward to a long and rewarding working relationship which benefits our customers."

A recent example of the successful relationship can be seen with Dragon Asphalt in Newport, Wales. Dragon Asphalt is an independent manufacturer of a full range of asphalt materials and a long-standing customer of Brammer Buck & Hickman.

A broken stainless-steel cylinder at Dragon Asphalt site was having a massive impact on production and need rapid replacement. Dragon Asphalt contacted Newport Branch Business Manager Geoff Bengough for urgent assistance.

A direct replacement of this type of cylinder from the existing manufacturer would normally take four days due to the unusual nature of the part, resulting in considerable downtime and lost revenue.

Brammer Buck & Hickman assessed the cylinder and called on the support of Camozzi, which has its own engineering workshops in the UK and was therefore able to provide an exceptionally quick turnaround. Camozzi built a new replacement cylinder the same day and Dragon Asphalt received it by 13:00.

Chris Barron, Business Manager at Dragon Asphalt comments: "As a new business, it was essential for Dragon Asphalt to establish a reliable supplier for tools and spare parts. Brammer Buck & Hickman offer a complete product range and could offer like for like replacements from the same brands as our existing equipment.

Brammer Buck & Hickman confirmed we had made the right choice when a critical pneumatic cylinder failed, and Brammer Buck & Hickman were able to have a replacement unit built and delivered within four hours of the initial call being made."

Camozzi Automation is one of the many manufacturers Brammer Buck & Hickman works with to achieve continuous improvement within the pneumatics sector for customers. Brammer Buck & Hickman is committed to providing value added services, with more than 7000 fluid power products in stock from more than 1500 of the world's leading manufacturers.
