Brammer Ireland appoints new Managing Director

Brammer has appointed Ciaran Hallinan as Managing Director of its fast-growing Irish business. Ciaran joins Brammer from SPX, where he was General Manager of the company's Irish business which had a circa EUR10m turnover. His extensive experience also includes spells with Gilroy Filtration, Chemspec International and Excel Industries.

Based in Dublin, Ciaran will succeed Chris Davies, who is retiring at the end of the year after more than 30 years with Brammer. Chris initially joined Brammer in 1977 and pioneered the company's successful entry into the fluid power market.

Ian Ritchie, Managing Director of Brammer, says: "Chris Davies has been a major asset to Brammer and has played a vital role in making Brammer Ireland the established market leader that it is today. We wish him the very best for his retirement.

"As we say goodbye to one member of the Brammer family, we welcome Ciaran to the team. Ciaran has a strong background in growing businesses and is the ideal choice to take Brammer Ireland forward."
