BS EN ISO 4413:2010, safety of hydraulic fluid power
On 31 July 2011 BSI published BS EN ISO 4413:2010, Hydraulic fluid power. General rules and safety requirements for systems and their components. This standard replaces and supersedes, respectively, BS ISO 4413:1998 and BS EN 982:1996+A1:2008.
According to the recently updated list of Machinery Directive Harmonised Standards, EN ISO 4413:2010 is harmonised as of 8 April 2011, though the date of cessation of the presumption of conformity of EN 982:1996+A1:2008 is 30 November 2011. Note that neither EN 982 nor EN ISO 4413 are Harmonised to the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC.
