Burkert to exhibit hygienic products at EHEDG Conference 2018

Centre stage in Burkert's offering will be the innovative Type 8098 FLOWave flowmeter, which offers contactless, precision flow measurement, even in liquids with low or no conductivity. Its compact design, excellent cleanability and compatibility with digital communication protocols, ensures it is suitable for process control projects with the highest hygienic standards.

Also on the stand will be Burkert's innovative hydroformed tube valve body which is electro-polished and offers cleanability that is comparable with that of stainless steel process pipework. This design is as much as 75 per cent lighter than forged housings, reducing the energy requirement for heating and cooling during the cleaning process. Experts will be on hand to discuss the benefits of this and other valve body designs.

Another highlight will be the EHEDG-compliant ELEMENT valve control system, offering high IP protection for washdown-intensive and wet applications in the food and beverage industry, such as those found in breweries. Innovative features also include a fully integrated control air supply with spring chamber ventilation and exceptional chemical resistance.
