New BSI Kitemark for Functional Safety

BSI is launching a new BSI Kitemark for Functional Safety of Electrical, Electronic and Programmable Electronic Systems to help manufacturers demonstrate that their products are effective, fit for purpose and can function in times of emergency.

Panduit to exhibit at Productronica 2017 Exhibition

Panduit Corp. will be exhibiting at Productronica 2017 Exhibition from 14th to 17th November in Munich in Hall A5 on Stand 570. At the trade fair for electronics development and production, Panduit will be showcasing its PAT 4.0 automatic cable tie installation system, Quick-Build harness board system, and battery powered BlackFin power and grounding installation tools that lead the industry in safety and reliability. Panduit will also showcase cable tie installation hand tools including new metal variants, control panel products, Easy Mark Plus labelling software, identification products, cable ties including PLT4H-147, as well as new terminal block markers.

Pacepacker repeats double automation innovation award win

At the prestigious PPMA Group Industry Awards 2017, Pacepacker Services repeated their 2015 success, winning two processing and packaging innovation awards in one night. In addition to taking home the trophy for the Most Innovative Packaging Machinery for designing a huge fully automated line comprising case erection, loading and palletising, Pacepacker also won the top prize for Most Innovative Ancillary Equipment with its time-saving technology Pallet+.

Micro-Epsilon to unveil new sensor at Engineering Design Show

At the Engineering Design Show (18th October - 19th October 2017) at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, Micro-Epsilon UK (stand C25) will showcase its full range of sensor technologies, including non-contact capacitive, eddy current and laser triangulation displacement sensors, as well as 2D/3D laser profile sensors, thermal imagers and colour sensors. BOGE has placed itself at the cutting edge of compressor manufacture by investing €2 million in creating a "˜smart factory' at its German headquarters in Bielefeld, west of Hannover. The 2000m ² smart factory, which manufactures BOGE's HST (high-speed turbo) oil-free compressor, monitors, controls and optimises manufacturing to maximise product quality and reliability, and ensure there are no faults during production.
