MTC announces launch of West Midlands RAS Cluster

The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) and University of Birmingham have founded a West Midlands RAS cluster as a catalyst to unlock the robotics and automation capabilities of the UK. Its intention is to connect various communities and lead to much greater utilisation of Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) throughout industry.

Automation UK reveals an exciting addition to its 2025 show

Following the success of this year's Automation UK, the show organiser, Automate UK, is delighted to announce that next year's event will be significantly bigger than before. The previously co-located Machine Vision Conference (MVC), now known as Vision UK, will be fully integrated into Automation UK upon its return to the CBS Arena in Coventry between 7-8 May 2025.

NSK has announced the sale of Neuweg Fertigung, its German subsidiary based in Munderkingen, to British investor Stephen Lord and existing employees Willi Castro Santanella and Dominik Szell. The sale will take effect from 1 September 2024.

MVC rebranded to Vision UK as part of exciting Automate UK plans

Automate UK announces that Machine Vision Conference (MVC) has been rebranded to Vision UK and in future will be incorporated within Automation UK. This will make it the UK's largest show dedicated to industrial automation, robotics and machine vision solutions. The annual show will return to the CBS Arena in Coventry between 7-8 May 2025.
