Herga Technology footswitches gain variable output option

Herga Technology is adding a variable output option on two of its most popular standard range footswitches - the 6227 and 6228 series. Aimed at motor speed control or variable position/pressure/torque control for manually operated industrial or office/domestic equipment, the option includes a non-contacting Hall Effect sensor for maximum life with a 0...5V DC output that is proportional to the spring-returned pedal position. Based on the well-established switched versions of the 622x series, the variable output 6227 and 6228 models respectively include IPX2 or IPX7/8 protection. The robust and durable footswitches feature a low profile, rear hinged design with a raised tread pattern and an anti-slip pad for maximum comfort.

Magnet-drive micropumps for high-pressure applications

The Micropump range of magnet-drive gear pumps has recently been extended to include new options which provide exceptional pumping performance for high system pressure applications. The GLH Series compact, magnetically driven external gear pumps are designed for fluids handling applications with system pressures up to 103Bar (1500psi) and maximum differential pressures to 8.5Bar. They can deliver flows from 2lit/min up to 22.0lit/min (at 2850 rpm) on liquids with a maximum viscosity range up to 2500cp, at temperatures up to 121degC.

Smart plastics EC.T sensor monitors e-chain glide bar condition

High speeds on long travels are distinct challenges for energy chain systems. To overcome these issues, igus has developed a more wear-resistant glide bar, which has a service life that is five times longer. Integrated into the rail is the smart plastics EC.T sensor that monitors the condition of the rail and alerts the maintenance team in advance of a breakdown.

Hammond 1552 series elegant and functional handheld enclosures

Hammond Electronics is launching its new 1552 family of hand-held enclosures. Initially available in six sizes, the IP54 rated UL94-V0 flame-retardant ABS enclosure features an ergonomic design that fits comfortably into the hand, enabling it to be used for long period in applications such as a machine controller or an electric hoist control. Cliff Electronics has developed a very wide range of FeedThrough (FT) and conventional connectors for mounting in industry-standard 24mm diameter XLR panel cut-out. With over 20 different connector types now available in this standard format, panel design and manufacture is greatly simplified.
