Safety-certified versions of Hiperface linear absolute encoders

SICK is releasing safety-certified versions of its TTK70 and TTK50 magnetic absolute linear encoders with Hiperface ° interface, widening the opportunities for accurate, absolute motor feedback systems to be integrated into safe linear drives. The SICK TTK70S and TTK50S absolute linear encoders with Hiperface interface are now certified to SIL2 (IEC 61508) and PLd (EN ISO 13849) for safety-related motion supporting SLS (safely-limited speed) safety functions in safe drive controls.

Intepro Systems is announcing its Model PSB 10000 30 KW programmable digital power supply/load. The PSB 10000 Series is a microprocessor controlled bi-directional supply that features two devices in one: an electronic DC load with energy recovery and an auto-ranging DC power supply. Universal terminal blocks for aluminium and copper conductors

Aluminium and copper conductors can be installed quickly, easily, and safely in the new UL-approved UBAL Al/Cu terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact. The contact chambers are pre-lubricated with antioxidants to simplify conductor pretreatment. The clamping part is made from an aluminium alloy. The lead-free tin surface enables both aluminium and copper conductors to be connected in the same terminal block.
