ESAB recently launched its portable multi-process Rebel welding machine to great acclaim. Since then the company has continually developed the range by introducing new models. Today there are five members of the Rebel family to suit the needs of a wide variety of different users.

Triaxial MEMS modules for condition-based monitoring at Mouser

Mouser Electronics is now stocking the ADcmXL3021 triaxial vibration sensor from Analog Devices. Based on Analog Devices' award-winning micromechanical (MEMS) sensor technology, the ADcmXL3021 module is a complete sensing system that monitors for early indications of possible machine fatigue and failure specifically in industrial and transportation equipment to help reduce repair costs and maintain a high level of productivity.

MICA edge computer features secondary Ethernet interface

Harting's MICA Edge Computer is now available as the MICA ETH with a secondary Ethernet interface. It can be used to easily exchange and process data between two Ethernet networks, including wired-to-wireless gateway applications.

New expansion modules for Parker's IQAN family

Parker Hannifin is releasing new expansion modules for its IQAN family. Four versions of the high-performance modules are available for use in different ways to meet the requirements of any hydraulic mobile machine, making it easy to expand an IQAN control system when connected to an IQAN-MC4x master controller. Communication between the master and expansion module is performed via the proprietary IQAN protocol and can run as classic CAN or CAN-FD (CAN with Flexible Data-Rate). The modules are designed for quick-and-easy set-up with minimal configuration requirements.

Available as a bare board or in an enclosure with a dual-band Wi-Fi module, the FRWY-LS1046A evaluation board is an edge computing platform designed to support NXP's QorIQ LS1046A system-on-chip (SoC).
