Renold Chain is launching a new lubrication-free transmission chain, available with a range of attachments, and a fast one-week turnaround service. The new chain is designed around the company's innovative Syno lubrication-free technology within a standard steel bush-roller chain. It is well suited to applications that do not require all the additional features of Syno, such as special surface treatments and corrosion resistance.

Redux wave springs offer performance advantages

Lee Spring is promoting its Redux wave springs, which offer a way of performing a spring function in minimal spaces - even perhaps where no other spring could work effectively. Typically, Redux wave springs occupy just 30-50 per cent of the compressed height space of the conventional round wire springs, yet they offer more deflection with the same load specifications. This not only helps to save space in the applications but also reduces the production costs, as fewer materials are required and often enable devices that would not otherwise be feasible.
