New cover strip for profiled guide rails reduces mounting time

With its innovative new cover strip for profiled guide rails, Schaeffler's linear technology specialists will present a very simple and practical mounting option: the ADE steel cover strip is slid into a fitted groove in the guide rail and fixed in place using a screw. Mounting times are therefore reduced by up to 90 per cent compared with previous options. igus is introducing advanced polymer ball transfer units for use on ball tables to ensure five times more load-bearing capacity. These conveyor tables transport delicate or heavy goods in multiple directions. Made of the high-performance plastic xirodur B180, the ball transfer units can support loads of up to 500N. Stainless steel balls inside the roller allow smooth running.
