Board-level cameras feature liquid lenses and Active Focus

USB 3.1 Gen 1 board-level cameras from the uEye LE family from IDS are available as variants with the use and control of liquid lens lenses. The cameras focus in milliseconds on different object distances - for millions of cycles, wear-free and without moving parts. This makes them particularly suitable for applications where the working distance changes frequently.

Low-power TI op amp from Mouser offers high slew rate

Mouser Electronics is now stocking the TLV9052 operational amplifier from Texas Instruments (TI). Featuring a high slew rate and low quiescent current, the dual op amp is suitable for battery-powered motor-drive applications, as well as large appliances, photodiode amplifiers, sensor signal conditioners, and low-side current sensing.

BOGE unveils Anniversary Edition of S-4 screw compressor

This year marks BOGE Compressors' 111th anniversary, the company plans to celebrate this in style by unveiling a special Anniversary Edition of its popular S-Series screw compressors at the Hanover Fair (April 1-5, 2019). Now in its fourth generation of development, the S-4 takes energy saving, sound pressure dBA and ease of maintenance to an entirely new level. The S 111-4, a new "˜limited edition' compressor, packs some novel technologies, all of which will be revealed to visitors to the stand at this year's show.

Intelligent monitoring of moving cables in smart factories

igus has produced a short video that demonstrates its CF.Q module, which monitors the health of bus cables in e-chains after the warranty period expires and recommends maintenance or replacement in good time. Just one part of the smart plastic range, the system provides early alarms even for the smallest changes in transmission characteristics - this avoids unscheduled system shutdowns as well as the associated high costs.
