The outdoor housings of the Phoenix Contact Environmental Case System (ECS) series are now also available in a more compact design. The shorter installation depth of 109mm""instead of 169mm""is especially suitable for space-critical applications that require a high degree of environmental protection.

DM1200: High-accuracy, large-aperture current transducer

Danisense is announcing the DM1200, a high-accuracy current transducer capable of measuring signals up to 1200Arms and 1500A DC. Specifically targeting the eV and heV markets which requires higher power converters that can be rapidly-charged, the DM1200 also features a large, 45mm diameter aperture which makes testing easier and more cost-effectively as frequent installation and replacement of the system under test can be performed without the need to remove the primary cable connector.

TM Robotics launches double-speed SCARA robot

TM Robotics is launching Toshiba Machine's THE600 SCARA robot to the North American market at Automate 2019, held at McCormick Place, Chicago, from April 8-11, 2019. At the region's largest automation technology showcase, TM Robotics will showcase Toshiba Machine's robots from booth number 6763. Monitor door pairs with one safety switch and two actuators

Mechan Controls is promoting its HED safety switch that monitors two adjacent doors with a single switch and a coded magnetic actuator on each door. This saves on installation time, cabling, parts count and purchase costs - one HED switch costs around half the price of two separate switches. The non-contact actuators can approach the switch from most angles, with the switching distance being 7mm. Safety-related specifications are PL e, Category 4 and SIL 3.
