Compact T-distributors for simple, quick power connections

Phoenix Contact's QPD installation system enables you to connect cables quickly and easily. The new four-position T-distributors for cables up to 2.5mm ² allow a flexible branch line to be created for consumers in the power distribution system. The T-distributors are reliable thanks to robust housings with IP66, IP 69 (2m, 24h) and IP69K degrees of protection. The electronics are thoroughly protected as the housings do not need to be opened, even when connecting the power supply.

New stainless steel quarter-turn catch from EMKA

EMKA's new Program 1000 stainless steel quarter-turn latch uses an externally mounted C shaped catch and insert type spanner lock in conformity with RIC for Railway use outside the sealing gasket on enclosures and cabinets. By mounting outside the cabinet frame and outside the gasketing area, panel builders may be confident that the lock installation ensures integrity of the housing as the sealed area is not compromised in any way.

Pilz launches PSENscan safety laser scanner

Pilz is launching the PSENscan safety laser scanner that safely monitors up to three separate zones simultaneously, offering the potential to increase plant productivity significantly. Up to four safety laser scanners can be connected in series in a master-slave arrangement, which reduces the cabling and set-up work considerably. Thanks to the freely configurable warning zones and protection zones, plus the ability to adapt to existing structural conditions, the PSENscan scanner is easily integrated within many different types of application.
