Tapered roller thrust bearings for demanding applications

To meet the demands of top drive manufacturers, SKF has developed a new generation of tapered roller thrust bearings, the first to join its Explorer family of high-performance bearing products. With higher load ratings and bearing rating life extended by up to 300 per cent, the SKF Explorer tapered roller thrust bearings are ready for the next generation of larger, more powerful top drives. They can also be used to optimise the reliability of existing designs.

Atlas Copco is launching the new GA 90+-160 VSD+ oil-injected screw compressor range that provides reduced energy consumption, straightforward installation and simple service. It features state-of-the-art compression elements with Smart Injection technology coupled with highly efficient oil-cooled IE4 and IE5 motors that require no service interventions. The new Elektronikon Touch controller with integrated smart algorithms further reduces energy consumption. It is available in water- and air-cooled versions, with fixed or variable speed drive and with an optional integrated dryer.
