PULS DIN-rail power supplies with conformal-coated PCBs

PULS Power DIN-rail power supplies are inherently robust and deliver high efficiency, reliability and long service lifetime even under challenging ambient conditions. However, these properties can be diminished, especially in tough ambient conditions, for example high air humidity with a great deal of condensation and a concentration of conductive particles in the environment, where the attraction of dust particles may be due to electrostatic charge, etc. To ensure long-term reliability of a customer's system under such conditions, power supplies with conformal-coated PCBs are recommended.

Rugged modular 1.27mm pitch connectors comply with MIL 83513

Nicomatic is launching a new rugged micro-connector, the 1.27mm pitch EMM series for defence and other high-reliability applications. Designed to meet the performance requirements of MIL 83513, EMM series connectors occupy 40 per cent less space than previous-generation connectors from the company, are 20 per cent smaller than Micro D connectors for 16-pin configurations, and are claimed to be around 10 per cent smaller in footprint than the closest industry competitor.
