Engineering firm cuts costs with high efficiency compressors

BOGE is saving an aerospace engineering and treatment company at least £18,000 a year by installing two of its high-efficiency compressors. The business operates from two locations - a precision engineering site (manufacturing high-integrity, complex, aerospace components and assemblies), and a treatment site (providing non-destructive testing, surface treatments, and painting to major aerospace companies and their suppliers).

Surrey-based Raecom Emergency Alarms Ltd specialise in wireless alarms systems for leisure facilities. Whilst some of its products are electrical, there are areas such as swimming pools and saunas where the wet environment and safety requirements call for alternative alarm technologies to be used. To fulfil these needs Raecom has developed a range of products based on air switching and chose Herga Technology for its component-level requirements.

Bearing specialist supplying Eurovision

SMB Bearings has been contracted to provide specialist bearings as part of the set design for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, taking place in Kyiv, Ukraine on May 13. The stainless steel bearings will be used in lighting and camera rigs on the set of the annual televised contest.
