The UK is now bound by UKCA Marking following its withdrawal from the EU. In this session, Pilz's presenter will be looking at what this means for manufacturers based in the UK, and also the implications for manufacturers importing to the UK
The process of CE Marking is mandatory for manufacturers working in, or importing to, EU countries.
This webinar, hosted by Pilz aims to help appreciate what CE Marking is and who has a duty to comply. The Pilz presenter will explain what constitutes a machine under the scope of the Machinery Directive, the documentation process that will be required to show compliance and the structure of supporting harmonised European Standards to support compliance to the Machinery Directive.
The webinar will also look at some of the key aspects of the Essential Health & Safety Requirements (EHSR'S) from the Machinery Directive, including what is required to ensure compliance. Also covered will be an overview of other Directives that a machine may need to comply with for it to be correctly CE marked.
