In conjunction with TÜV NORD, Pilz Automation UK is hosting its first CMSE Course of 2021. It starts on 18th January and lasts for four days
The next Certified Machinery Safety Expert (CMSE) course to be hosted by Northants-based machinery safety experts Pilz starts on 18th January and is a CPD Accredited event. The course is run in co-operation with TÜV NORD to provide delegates with a CSME qualification to become a CMSE.
The course, held at the Pilz UK Headquarters building in Corby, provides an overall view of the subject of machinery safety and is divided into five modules which are designed to convey comprehensive knowledge on, and about, the machinery lifetime cycle. The CMSE modules are standardised worldwide and are of a uniform level. The course features multiple-choice tests and successful candidates pass out with a TÜV NORD certificate which has international validity.
The course is sectioned into five modules covering an introduction to safety, machinery safety, risk assessment and mechanical safeguards and the functional safety of control systems.
