Pilz Automation Technology has set the dates for its machinery safety training courses in 2021 and is now accepting bookings
Pilz says that as previously, all courses are scheduled to run from the purpose-built training site in Corby, Northamptonshire, with additional procedures in place to ensure that the facility is Covid-secure.
New to the Pilz UK Training Schedule for 2021 is 'CECE - Certified Expert in CE Marking.' The course aims to arm delegates with the expert knowledge necessary to undertake the CE process - mandatory for manufacturers working in or importing to EU countries - on new, existing or modified machines.
Adding to the Pilz portfolio of Certified Machinery Safety Training courses alongside 'CMSE' and 'City & Guilds', successful completion of 'Certified Expert in CE Marking' will lead to an internationally recognised TÜV Nord Certificate.
Throughout 2021 Pilz will continue to run both ‘CMSE - Certified Machinery Safety Expert’ and ‘City & Guilds Machinery Safety’ on a monthly basis, providing plenty of opportunity to obtain recognised Machinery Safety Certification with the Machinery Safety Experts.
A majority of courses are also CPD-accredited, meaning that delegates can collect CPD points when participating in training with Pilz UK, to add to their personal development portfolio.
Other machinery safety courses being run throughout 2021 include:
Risk Assessment & PUWER Workshop
Fundamentals of Machinery Safety
Safety Design (incorporating EN ISO 13849 & EN 62061) & PAScal Safety Calculator
Courses specific to Pilz products
In addition to courses scheduled at the training facility, Pilz can also run courses – including the CMSE course - at locations that are convenient for customers. Furthermore, if a company has specific training requirements, Pilz can tailor the course content to suit the needs of the attendees.
Details of all the training courses available and the schedule for 2021 can be found on the Pilz website.
