CML-IT names Farnell European distributor of the year 2006
CML Innovative Technologies (CML-IT) has named Farnell its European distributor of the year 2006 in recognition of an extremely successful opto-electronics campaign; Farnell introduced a record number of CML-IT solid-state lighting products to its product portfolio in 2006.
Alongside CML-IT's standard EBT Optronic products, Farnell added a number of new innovative LED-based lighting products, including the new range of solid-state light engines that offer powerful illumination with added benefits of energy saving and reduced service costs.
Presenting the award in the form of a beautiful giant crystal wineglass complemented by a bottle of fine wine from Bad Dürkheim (CML-IT's headquarters in Germany), Peter Murphy, VP Operations Europe at CML-IT, commented: "We are delighted to be able to recognise Farnell's achievements in promoting our products and introducing so many new solid-state lighting solutions to their customer base."
Receiving the award for Farnell, Marianne Culver, Group Director Global Electronics Supplier, remarked: "It is a great honour for us to receive this award from CML-IT. We want to build on this highly successful business relationship and introduce further new products from CML-IT in 2007."
