Compact analogue pressure sensor for compressed air monitoring
Just launched by ifm electronic is a new pressure sensor with analogue and switched output for efficient monitoring of compressed air or filters. The new models in the PQ series pressure sensors measure both relative and differential pressure. This makes them suitable for condition-based maintenance, for example when a filter is exchanged or leakage is detected by pressure loss.
The coated silicon measuring cell guarantees high overload resistance and an accuracy of +/- 0.5 per cent. The special coating protects the measuring cell from air humidity and condensate. The two-colour LED display enables immediate status detection. The parameter setting can be carried out via two pushbuttons or IO-Link interface. These compact sensors offer an analogue output and a switching output, both of which are configurable.
There are two versions of the sensor available: with a measuring range of -1...1 or -1"10 bar.
