Compact connector is quick to install
The new Han Q 5/0 connector insert from Harting is a compact five-pole unit that uses Harting's Han-Quick Lock termination technology for ease of installation and space saving.
Suitable for applications where power, signal and control connections need to be integrated in a compact installation, the new connector is rated at 230/400V and 16A. The insert can be assembled into all standard metal hoods and housings from Harting's Han 3A range.
In order to reduce wiring times and increase reliability, the Han-Quick Lock termination technology provides rapid field assembly without the need for special tools. A normal screwdriver is all that is needed for assembly and connection of wires of cross-sections from 0.5mm2 to 2.5mm2.
Stainless steel is used for the spring in the locking system. Other materials include high-quality copper alloy for the contacts and polycarbonate for the insert.
The vibration-secure connection has a lifetime of over 500 mating cycles and is protected to IP65/67.
