Compact temperature switch from ifm features fast response
Temperature switches from ifm electronic are known for a very fast response thanks to the advanced technology used in production, and the new TA series is no exception.
These loop-powered sensors show the user immediately that they are ready for operation with the power status LED, a feature often lacking in such devices. Using Class A Pt1000 elements for precision, the TA sensor will react as quickly as 1 second (T05) or three seconds (T09).
Users can scale the default measuring range of -50 to 150degC by using the IO-Link interface, a new standard rapidly gaining acceptance.
The new TA series is available with either ½" or ¼" process thread, and with a choice of four different probe lengths between 25mm and 150mm. All the probes are only 6mm in diameter.
These stainless steel TA series sensors are all well protected, up to a protection rating of IP69K, and can withstand high pressures, up to a maximum of 400 bar.
Many other useful features are included, from laser-etched markings (no more lost labels) to industrial standard M12 connectors.
