Compact, waterproof LEMO F Series now available from Astute
LEMO F Series connectors designed specifically for demanding applications where space and weight are critical are now available from Astute Electronics. The LEMO F Series interconnects meet MIL Std 810E, but are far smaller than comparable MIL Spec connectors, enabling dramatic space savings. The use of an aluminium alloy body achieves a low weight for size, yet the LEMO Series is a tough, ruggedised product able to withstand high shock and vibration and is also IP-67 rated.
The LEMO F Series features a push-pull latching mechanism to provide secure connection, while the contact density enables considerable panel space savings. Multi-key options prevent cross-mating of similar connectors within a panel. Within the F Series, models are available with 2 to 66 contacts, and contact types include LV and Fibre Optic, plus hybrids, making this a very flexible interconnect option. F Series connectors are highly durable and can withstand up to 1000 mating cycles. Crimp and PCB terminations are available. The F Series also offers full EMC protection. Rated to IP67 against dust and water ingress, the LEMO F Series can withstand temperatures between -15degC and +200degC.
