Connector gland cuts cost of installing cabling in cabinets

Rittal's new connector gland offers significantly less assembly work, a flexible sealing system for different cable diameters and simple entry of pre-assembled cables into cabinets and enclosures for easy routing.

Consisting of a sealing frame suitable for 16/24-pole connector cut-outs and pluggable sealing modules, the connector gland reduces installation costs yet still provides sealing to IP64.

Benefits include: flexible cable management (individual cables can be replaced without dismantling the entire sealing frame); only four sealing modules for the clamping range from 4-16mm; a sealing frame that is screwed directly to the enclosure and is compatible with Rittal gland and module plates with connector cut-outs; and sealing modules remain firmly fastened to the cable.
