Conrad expands range of development and prototyping kits
Conrad Business Supplies is adding a number of new products to its range of development and prototyping kits. Development kits are essential in simplifying and accelerating the new designs of innovative applications across multiple sectors and technology segments in the electronics industry.
Conrad now offers over 5000 semiconductor development and prototyping products, accessories and tools. New additions to the product range include products from well-known and respected manufacturers such as Microchip Technology, Texas Instruments, Freescale Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, 4D Systems, Embedded Artists and MikroElektronika.
A specific product which is now part of Conrad's selection of development kits and equipment include the SimpleLink Wi-Fi CC3200 LaunchPad, CC3200-LAUNCHXL. This evaluation development platform was particularly designed by Texas Instruments for the CC3200 wireless microcontroller (MCU), a programmable MCU with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. The board features on-board emulation and includes sensors for a full out-of-the-box experience.
Also joining the extended product range are the complete selection of TI LaunchPad Evaluation Kits, Freescale Freedom Development Platforms, STM32 Nucleo & Discovery Development Board, Microchip PIC32 chipKIT products and many other professional design and development engineering tools. These tools support rapid prototyping of embedded processor-based applications and various popular open-source third-party software and hardware accessories/add-on boards.
In addition, the FlowPaw designed by DSPRobotics, developed and manufactured by MikroElektronika is a kit specifically designed for the needs of aspiring makers, young engineers and to stimulate this next generation of developers. This "paw' shaped circuit board is delivered with four modular sensor or actuator "claws', that when used with the included FlowStone programming environment allow for an intuitive, graphically based method to get developing straight away.
