Control success for Siemens partner

The machine tools specialist supplies technologies to more than 5000 companies across the UK and has been a Siemens partner for more than 12 years. As part of this partnership, it exclusively fits SINUMERIK CNC technology in its standardised milling and turning machine systems.

In addition to the successful delivery of the latest version of the 828D control - a tailor-made software system which offers enhanced functionality and incorporates hardware that operates two times faster than previous models - XYZ will soon be incorporating the enhanced 840D into its offering. The new 840D features a 19 inch screen and both the 828D and 840D offer user-friendly shop mill and shop turn interfaces.

Founded in 1984, XYZ delivers CNC machine tools primarily for sub contract and tool room operations, as well as to the aerospace and motorsport industries.
