New product developments include the launch of a real-time Ethernet module - SM-EtherCAT is for use with Control Techniques' full range of AC and servo drives from 0.37kW; these are suitable for applications ranging from simple conveyor or pump controls, through high-precision servo applications to high-power 1.9MW multi-mode drives.
In addition, the Commander SK, which is said to be the most powerful easy drive in the world - available from 0.25-132kW - will also be on display. The Commander SK requires just half the footprint space and volume compared with other drives of the same power rating. It is simple and compact, yet boasts performance characteristics that exceed customer expectations for a general-purpose drive.
