Control Technologies UK now supplying GEMAC CAN diagnostic tools

Control Technologies UK is now the UK distributor and systems partner for GEMAC Fieldbus and the company's portfolio of CAN diagnosis tools.

GEMAC is a leading German CAN fieldbus specialist engaged in the development and production of high-tech electronic products. The range includes CAN-Bus diagnostics systems, sensors with fieldbus interfaces and ASICs. GEMAC, a member of the CAN in Automation (CiA) organisation, supplies its products to customers in the fields of industrial automation, medical, agricultural and alternative energy, to name just a few.

The GEMAC fieldbus diagnosis tools measure not only at the protocol level, but they also dive down deeply into the physical layers. With their wide range of diagnosis functions, both for the physical bus and the protocols themselves, they assist in detecting problems on a bus easily, to prove and verify the quality of bus participants and support analysis of higher-level CAN protocols such as CANopen, DeviceNet and SAE J1939.

Mark Wood, Managing Director of Control Technologies UK, comments: "At Control Technologies UK, we are continually seeking out new technology to provide our clients with the best solutions. To support our expertise in CAN-bus, the GEMAC fieldbus units offer unrivalled diagnosis capabilities, allowing us to deep-dive into a client's CAN architecture, identify issues and provide the most relevant solution.

"It is really exciting to have GEMAC as part of our product portfolio and I look forward to bringing these tools to our customers attention."
