Danfoss Drives will be exhibiting on Stand F35 at the 2017 Pump Centre Conference and Exhibition in Telford, taking place on Thursday 11th May 2017. The company will be showcasing its flagship VLT AQUA series of drives designed for all water and wastewater applications and the VACON 100 FLOW drives which are optimised for pumping applications.

Delegates who visit Danfoss Drives can enjoy a virtual reality experience. Visitors simply put on VR goggles and enter a virtual reality tour of various industry segments. The virtual reality presentations offer "almost' hands-on experience of Danfoss' application-optimised products. Each of the virtual reality presentations includes material shot using a 360 degree real-life video drone combined with animated footage. The AC drives featured are shown in the distinctive Danfoss X-ray image style. The voiceover talks customers through the entire experience and explains more about the benefits of application-optimised products.

Variable speed drives in the VACON 100 FLOW range offer easy set up with dedicated application menus for pump and other water segment applications, economy with integrated two-zone PID control, and versatility with multi-motor control facilities provided as standard. Available with power ratings from 0.55kW to 800kW, they provide an extensive range of features that make life easier and save money for users.

Key features of these versatile drives include integrated frost protection; start and sleep boosting; soft pipe filling, which runs pumps at low speed until the pipes are filled; and an anti-ragging function that detects when a pump is blocked and initiates a user-defined cleaning sequence.

The VLT AQUA Drives on show at the exhibition are designed to provide a high level of performance in AC-motor-driven water and wastewater applications. The innovative design of the VLT AQUA Drives offer a low cost of ownership, utilising the company's back channel cooling concept, which reduces the need for external cooling by up to 90 per cent. AQUA drives are supplied in single-phase versions with power ratings up to 37kW and three-phase versions with ratings up to 2MW. Twelve-pulse and low harmonic drives are also included in the range.

In addition, this year, for the first time visitors to the Pump Centre Conference will be able to see Danfoss' offering from different points of view - as manufacturer but also as partner and integrator. Ralspeed, a well known Danfoss Competence Centre and Service Partner will be exhibiting across the hall from Danfoss, in F63.

The company will be showing Danfoss VSD panels, Ralspeed soft-start and direct on line panels for indoor and outdoor use. Ralspeed representatives Michael Southworth (Ralspeed Sales Manager), Alex Rooney (Ralspeed Sales Director) and Simon Finlay (Ralspeed Southern Managing Director), will be on stand to offer advice to all those interested.
