With the SR 011-1, SIGMATEK has extended its motion series of the modular, compact S-DIAS system with a DC motion module that has been specially designed for the efficient control of spindle linear actuators.
(See SIGMATEK at MachineBuilding.Live, 15 October 2025, on stand 167)
The SR 011-1 is designed for DC brush motors with a phase current of up to 5 A (peak current 15 A) at a supply voltage of 18 to 55 V. The PWM and current controller frequency has been reduced to 2 kHz, making it ideally suited to the requirements of spindle linear actuators. In combination with the control of the DC motor via PWM setpoint value, this results in an optimised, cost-efficient solution for motion applications where no feedback is required.
Easy integration
The motion module is mounted on the DIN rail and has two enable inputs and a brake chopper. A digital output (+24 V/0.5 A, short-circuit-proof) is available for application-specific switching operations.
An incremental encoder input is available for position feedback, which supports both RS422 and TTL encoders. The +24 V supply voltage for the digital output and the incremental encoder supply is monitored for undervoltage.
With the SR 011-1, SIGMATEK offers a slim, application-specific solution for simple adjustment or feed actuators with spindle linear actuators.
