DELBA Electrical named first NSK Certified Workshop
The first company in the world to achieve the newly created NSK Certified Workshop status is DELBA Electrical, a rebuilder and repairer of motors and generators based in South Africa. At DELBA Electrical's headquarters in Springs in the Gauteng Provence of South Africa, the certification process involved a two-day audit of all the company's working practices, especially those involving the application and fitting of bearings, together with associated training programmes. The company also took the opportunity, as part of the programme, to upgrade its maintenance tools and test equipment to further improve its Field Service Team condition monitoring capabilities. Support and training from NSK experts was provided to around 10 DELBA technicians with regard to NSK's CMS (Condition Monitoring Service), laser alignment and dynamic balancing offer.
