Dold brings safety solutions to MachineBuilding.Live

See Dold at MachineBuilding.Live, 4 October 2023, on stand 47

Dold will highlight a number of key products at MachineBuilding.Live, including the STS key transfer system, UH6900 wireless safety system and the RL 9405 energy meter.

The STS key transfer system combines the advantages of zero wiring, mechanical safety and electrical safety. The basic principle of the key transfer system ensures that a machine or system is in a safe state before an access can be made.

The UH6900, now available with FCC approval, is a wireless system within the SAFEMASTER W series for the safety-related transmission of emergency stop and control functions. It offers increased flexibility for safeguarding hazardous areas, and is certified for safety applications up to Cat. 4 / PL e or SIL CL 3. Features include:

  • Two-channel safety inputs and outputs or signalling output
  • Long transmission range up to 800 m
  • Control inputs and outputs

Providing energy monitoring with Modbus RTU, the RL 9405 energy meter – part of the VARIMETER PRO series – is used to measure electrical parameters and energy consumption in 3-phase and single-phase mains with neutral conductor. Voltages and currents are measured and evaluated continuously. A separate auxiliary voltage is not required. The device is ISO 50001 compliant for energy audits.
