Drop-in replacements for Calgary and Stockholm OLED displays

Following Osram's announcement that it will cease production of OLED displays, Texim Europe Europe has sourced equivalent products from OSD Displays for the popular OLED Pictiva models Calgary and Stockholm.

The OSD-2864ASYDT01 is a 2.7inch 128x64 dot OLED-display that can be used as an alternative to the Calgary, and the OSD-2864ASYCG01 is a 1.54inch 128x64 dot alternative to the Stockholm type. Both displays will be delivered in yellow.

While the 2.7inch display will use the SSD1325 driver chip, the 1.54inch will use the SSD1305 driver.

Sample shipments of the 2.7inch are expected in November 2007 and the 1.54inch will follow one or two months later.

OSD will continue to expand its OLED range in response to the demand for the recently discontinued OLEDs by Osram. More drop-in replacements are planned for 2008.
