EchoPod offers non-contact level measurement and control

According to Icenta Controls, the EchoPod offers the benefits of ultrasonic level measurement in a small package, with high accuracy, no moving or exposed parts, and low maintenance. It also reduces tank system hardware by combining switch, control and measurement capabilities simultaneously or individually, depending on the application.

A compact design enables the EchoPod to be installed where there are limited mounting options and space; a 5cm dead band allows for maximum fill of media.

The EchoPod also incorporates four internal relays, a 4-20mA analogue output and control for pump(s)/valve(s) - all in a single device. As such, the EchoPod is suitable for applications including fill control for small tanks and process automation. Additionally, with its non-metallic housing and transducer, the EchoPod can be used in corrosive, dirty or hazardous environments.

EchoPod is a recent addition to the FlowLine range of level switches and level transmitters that is now available from Icenta Controls.
